Mobineko Multimedia

Manufacturer of CDs, DVDs, and cassettes based in Taiwan. Mobineko also manufactures vinyl records, and has an in-house pressing plant circa 2017. Note: Mobineko often appears as "www.mobineko.com" in the matrix of their CDs, and as a credit on the packaging or label of the release. If this occurs, please credit the URL and not "Mobineko Multimedia". If the URL and the brand name are both credited, please credit both. Identifying CDs CDs pressed at this plant will have a mastering SID code of IFPI LP50, and mould SID codes beginning with IFPI JU**. Many discs will also contain a code with the format SM1-xyyyyy/zzA (ex. SM1-K70142/14A in Live In New York City '86) From 2009 onwards, each letter in this code corresponds to the year the disc was pressed (e.g. A = 2010, B = 2011, C = 2012, etc.) Some discs will also have the text "Pressed in Taiwan." in the matrix. There does not appear to be a consistent way of identifying vinyl records pressed at the Taiwanese plant. In addition, Mobineko also outsources many of their pressings, including all of their pre-2017 pressings, to other plants, such as Erika Records, MPO, and GZ Media.
