Blå Productions -- bp records -- was based in Oslo, Norway. The label bp records was a former label related to the concert venue [Konsertforeningen] Blå in Oslo, between 1998 and 2004. After 2004 Blå came under a new management, and bp records died. The releases on bp records are either 1) live recordings of Blå concerts, or 2) live recordings of bands intimately connected to Blå as venue and basis for musicians' networks, in the emerging avantgarde free jazz, impro-genre of that period. Key names connected to the venue were Martin Revheim (owner and manager), Paal Nilssen-Love as musician and network generator, Øyvind Larsen (labelmanager), and a host of other persons.
