Настоящее имя: New World Computing
New World Computing, Inc. was an American video game developer and publisher active from 1984 to 2003 and headquartered in Agoura Hills, California. The company was best known for the Might and Magic role-playing video game series and spin-offs, especially Heroes of Might and Magic.
In July 1996, The 3DO Company acquired New World Computing. Due to significant financial troubles, 3DO laid off most of New World's employees by April 2002. Without any improvement over the next year, 3DO filed for bankruptcy in May 2003, and New World Computing ceased to exist. Before dissolving later that year, 3DO sold the rights to the "Might and Magic" series to Ubisoft.
