Happy Time Records

Happy Time Records was a second children's music label owned by Pickwick International, Inc.. It was launched in the 1960s. It was used to release children's LPs, mainly recycled recordings originally released on Cricket (2); it was later used to release storybook albums and recordings of more contemporary kid-friendly material like then-recent Walt Disney movie soundtrack (The Jungle Book, The Aristocats) and Broadway musical (You're A Good Man, Charlie Brown!) covers. It was also used in the UK as a children's music label until the Mr. Pickwick brand was launched there in circa 1966). Both Happy Time Records and Cricket (2) were succeeded by Mr. Pickwick in the US and Canada by 1972.
