Saturn was a Canadian-headquartered disc manufacturing and supply chain management company that also operated in Ireland and the US. Founded in 1983 in Montreal, Canada as Saturn Solutions, the company originally offered magnetic tape and diskette replication services. Saturn expanded into Ireland in 1996 an opened its first CD factory in Dublin in 1996). A local CD factory was opened in Montreal in 1997, and finally a third in Orem, UT, USA in 2000. Saturn Fulfilment Services Limited, the local Irish company, went into liquidation in August 2003, after which the manufacturing plant wrapped up business. Mastering SID code: IFPI LG01
