Global Journey

Label primarily releasing new age and world music and later also releasing rock, pop, blues, jazz and classical. Earlier releases display the logo 'Global Journey' (with the subtitles 'Living For Music For Living', 'Music for living for music', 'The next generation in nature and music audio' or 'The next generation in audio'). Later releases display the logo 'Global Journey Music Gifts & DVDs' and 'Global Journey Gifts'. Formed in 1999 by three brothers Colin, Peter and Ian Samuels, Global Journey's aim is to provide affordable music covering a wide range of genres at low prices. Originally only supplying to retailers in the North West of England, Global Journey later launched a web store where they began selling their music globally. In later years the company would refocus and begin selling non-audio products such as jewellery, books and assorted fossils. Some releases have a phonographic copyright before 1999.
