NiPro Records

Electroforming division of NiPro Optics, Inc. dedicated to the manufacture of metal masters/mothers and stampers for pressing vinyl records. NiPro Optics was founded July 2005 by Tom Gross who first learned about the technology in the 1980s as it related to the fabrication of LP records. However, NiPro did not open its record plating division until later on. Operated by former employees of Superior Record Pressing Corp., Somerdale, NJ with four decades of electroforming experience, NiPro use state of the art metrology (Optimal CMM and Zygo New View interferometer) to improve concentricity and guarantee critical dimensions. High quality nickel and stress free electroforming elimates unnecessary ticks and pops in the stamper. Proprietary thin film coatings provide easier cleaning and longer press life.
