Kapellet, Copenhagen

The informal name of a defunct chapel located in the churchyard Assistens Kirkegård in the Nørrebro district of Copenhagen. Built in 1867-68, the chapel was c.1995 transformed into Kulturcentret Assistens, a cultural center and occasional venue for theatre and music. In August 2020 it was announced that the centre is closing due to bad economy and that the future use of the building is uncertain.
