Pure Groove was a record shop/gallery space in London. It began as a market stall in Camden in 1989, before quickly moving to a bricks and mortar home in Archway in North East London. It then moved to Smithfield Market in 2008.
From the store stemmed a publishing company, also called Pure Groove or Pure Groove Music, then renamed Universal Music Publishing PGM Ltd., handling the catalogues of The Streets, Metronomy or Example, and associated record labels, such as the eponymous Pure Groove, 50 Bones, Germs Of Youth, Marquis Cha Cha.
The Smithfield Market location was closed in July 2010, Pure Groove maintained a webstore service until September 2011.
