Decca Records Pressing Plant, Los Angeles
Настоящее имя: Decca Records Pressing Plant, Los Angeles
In operation from late 1945 to February 12, 1954. The plant pressed records both for Decca and its subsidiary Coral. There also was a recording studio on the plant's premises.
As this was the fifth plant Decca operated at the time (there were two in New York, NY and others in Bridgeport, CT and Richmond, IN), pressings from this plant can be identified by a "5" or ⑤ stamped into the runout. Starting in Oct. 1949, the plant also placed a star (★) behind the matrix numbers on its B side labels (but this was not exclusively used by the Los Angeles plant).
CAUTION: The Richmond, Indiana, plant also used a star (★), but only until August 1952 and always in combination with a 3 or ➂ stamped into the runout.
