Instituto Colombiano De Cultura

Colombian Institute of Culture, entity created in 1968, under the Ministry of National Education, in charge of “the elaboration, development and execution of the studies and promotion of arts and letters; the promostion of national folklore; the establishment of libraries, museums and cultural centers; and other activities in the field of culture". Disappeared as such in 1997, with the creation of Ministry of Culture. Instituto Colombiano De Cultura is also know as "Colcultura".
