Nightshifters

Nightshifters was started in 2008 and is run by Jason Forrest (DJ Donna Summer) and Jess Gentile, also known as Jubilee (5) (NYC). Last release was published in 2011, and not much activity is seen on social networks, so the label seems to be on hiatus. The label is built around a core group of musicians who produce club-friendly and banging music, incl. AC Slater, Hostage, Rob Threezy, Proper Villains, Rampage, Forrest and Jubilee themselves. They cover a wide range of genres like B'more, Rave, Baile funk, Electro, Dubstep, House, Bassline, Drum and Bass, and shit, maybe even Trance. Nightshifters used to release digital-only EPs of usually 2-4 original tracks and 2-6 remixes. Occasionally some separate tracks were available for free downloading. Artists who were presented as remixers on the label are Jokers Of The Scene, Mikix the Cat, Angel Alanis, Scott Cooper (3), Luna-C, Grahm Zilla, Dre Skull, Blatta & Inesha, among others.
