GetMusic, LLC

Established in April 1999, GetMusic, LLC was an online joint venture between Universal Music Group and BMG. In April 2001, Universal acquired BMG's half of the company. The retail website, getmusic.com, continued operations into the following year and was dissolved shortly thereafter.
