BMG U.S. Latin
Настоящее имя: BMG U.S. Latin
This division of BMG was originally formed in 1987 as a label successor to the RCA Latin organization. BMG U.S. Latin was formed to develop, manage and market Spanish-language 'Latin' artists in the U.S. and Puerto Rico from its headquarters in Miami (Coral Gables, Florida).
To develop the Tejano market, BMG U.S. Latin also opened a sales and marketing office in San Antonio, Texas in 1994. The growing roster of BMG U.S. Latin features Raúl Di Blasio, El General, Ilegales, Marisela and Gisselle.
Also referred to as BMG US Latin. See BMG International U.S. Latin for variants that include "International" in the logo.
This division was later renamed to Sony Music Latin after the fusion with Sony Music Entertainment and a majority of artist publishing to Universal Music Publishing Group in 2004.
