April Musikverlag GmbH

German publishing company. Established in December 1964 (registered 11.02.1965) in Frankfurt/Main as German subsidiary of CBS Schallplatten GmbH and part of the worldwide network of April Music publishing companies. In 1967 the company was extended as concert agency (April Musikverlag GmbH-Konzertbüro) for CBS artists appearing in Germany. First director until 1969 was Bernhard Mikulski. Between March 1978 and June 1982 the headquarters where located in Hamburg but then returned to Frankfurt. Renamed to CBS Songs Musikverlag GmbH in 1984. Often abbreviated to April Musikverlag or April MV, but please use April (5), April Musik, April Musikverlag, if stated like that on the release.
