Prophet

Collection of field recordings made by Charles Duvelle between 1961 and 1967 in Tchad, Senegal, Papua New Guinea, Niger, Mauritania, Madagascar, Congo, Central African Republic, Burkina Faso and Benin. A first serie of 40 compact-discs released by Philips and distributed by Universal, thanks to Jean-Philippe Allar have been released from 1999 to 2004. Most of those recordings have already been published by Ocora, but Duvelle added some exclusive material and carefully produced each volume, remastered from his master tapes at 20-bit.
