The Amazing Kornyfone Record Label
Настоящее имя: The Amazing Kornyfone Record Label
The Amazing Kornyfone Record Label (TAKRL), established by Ken Douglas, was one of the first bootleg record labels in America and was active from ca. 1973 until the late 1970s. TAKRL releases were often followed by pressings on other Trade Mark Of Quality sublabels, including Smokin' Pig, The Amazing Kornyfone Record Label For The Working Man, Singer's Original Double Disk, and Phonygraf.
TAKRL labels were often plain white or yellow, with only "Side One," "Side Two," etc, printed on the label. TAKRL also used a number of bogus label names on their labels, including Worlds Records and World Records (52), along with incorrect tracklists, possibly to obfuscate TAKRL's involvement. Please be sure to enter these bogus record labels on release submissions.
For releases from 1990 onwards, use The Amazing Kornyfone Record Label (2).
