Savoy
Настоящее имя: Savoy
Dinner club and performance venue active in New York City from April 1981 to sometime in 1983; commonly referred to as "The Savoy." In April 1981, Ron Delsener renovated the Hudson Theatre and renamed it Savoy. It ceased operating as Savoy in 1983, when it was rechristened (again) as the Hudson Theatre, sometimes referred to as "The Hudson."
Savoy is often conflated with the similarly named Savoy Theatre, another New York City venue open from 1900 to 1952. Many releases use "Savoy Theatre" when "Savoy" is the proper location.
Do not confuse with Savoy Ballroom, located approximately 6 miles to the north in Harlem.
