In the heart of downtown behind the Notre Dame square, the Olivier Messiaen Hall is a 300-seat auditorium now dedicated to classical music.
It is actually the former chapel of the convent founded in the seventeenth century by the order of Minims. Who is more religious since 1901, houses today including the offices of the musicians of the Louvre Grenoble.
The Messiaen Hall the rehearsals of the Orchestra in small training, performances of Chamber music, as well as actions of awakening and awareness (school concerts, conferences, masterclasses for the amateur or professional...). Other musical associations of Grenoble occur also to Olivier Messiaen, including University orchestras and choirs of fans.
In this place unique, full of history, close to the school of music La Saulaie or the Allobroges MJC, everyone can discover the music trying to build themselves, and become a little musician.
