Label founded by organist Jimmy Smith and his Wife Lola Smith in 1974 to promote Smith's work it's flagship release was Smith's "Paid In Full", LP. Named after his 1965 'Got My MoJo Workin' LP, located in the Los Angeles, California area San Fernando Valley. Active from 74-78 the label lay dormant until 1987 when Smith collaborator George Semper led the relaunch as a label to focus on contemporary new artists recordings and live events.
