SRT

Independent British label run by SRT Productions Ltd., founded in 1971 by Dave Richardson (2). Early logos read 'S. R. T. Productions', 'SRT Records' or 'SRT Custom'. The label was the successor to Sky Records (20), a joint venture between Dave Richardson and members of Jethro Tull. SRT stands for Sound Recording Technology, which specialised in mastering and private pressings; For studio credits see SRT Studios.
