Настоящее имя: The Madrid Theatre
Built in 1926, the Madrid Theatre is a music and event space located in the Midtown neighborhood of Kansas City, Missouri. Operating as a movie house from its inception through the 1930s (when it was purchased by Howard Hughes), the theatre closed to the public in 1944. Throughout the 1950s it mostly served as warehouse space, and was saved from demolition in 1983 with the intention of being restored. Though investors were involved as early as 1995, the Madrid did not reopen until the summer of 2001.
