Slaughter Productions
Настоящее имя: Slaughter Productions
Italian industrial/noise label and mailorder run by Marco Corbelli.
“Slaughter Productions was born around the year of 1992. I started releasing a magazine called Murders (three issues were made) in which I reflected my insane interest for murder, necrophilia, alienation and death-industrial/powerelectronics music. After this chapter, I recorded my first 'aberration' - "In Search of Death" - under the name ATRAX MORGUE. The sound was very obscure, harsh and deranged. I was influenced by bands like Whitehouse, Brighter Death Now and Genocide Organ. This was the first tape that gave birth to Slaughter Productions. The tape had a good reaction from people, so I decided to continue releasing my own recordings and to contact other projects that I liked to also release their music. At the time I was very fascinated by the Swedish label Cold Meat Industry... I liked very much some bands like raison d'Ítre, Archon Satani, In Slaughter Natives, Megaptera... At the end of 1993 I released the first compact disc, limited to 1000 copies: "Death Odors", an international compilation featuring some of the best acts in the death-industrial experimental underground. I started to work with bands like Megaptera, raison d'Ítre, No Festival Of Light, Inanna, etc. Also with some excellent Italian projects like Runes Order, Die Sonne Satan, Bad Sector...
Now, from 1993 to 1999, I have released more than 100 cassettes of death ambient, experimental and aforementioned similar genres. Most of the tape releases are still available through the mailorder, but I have stopped the tape production. From now on I will keep releasing more selected material on compact disc and vinyl.”
