International Award Series

Depending to the information from bsnpubs.com, the International Award Series was a division of Keel Mfg. Corp., created as a successor of the Bravo! Records label. Indeed it was advertised as a subsidiary label of Pickwick International, Inc. in the early 60s Billboard magazine issues. Early versions mention the Pickwick Sales Corp. So please denote the mentioned 'Record Company' as well as the label design, as there used to be two versions with different labels. Early versions had black labels with silver or gold print. Later versions show the globe design. Phased out in the mid-Sixties in favor of yet another Pickwick label, Grand Prix Series, which was used to reissue material on both International Award and Bravo! labels.
