The Gibsona Record
Настоящее имя: The Gibsona Record
Australian label from the mid-1920s created by pasting The Gibsona Record label over deleted stock of various records for sale by Gibson's Ltd. (a department store) of 420 George Street, Sydney. Most examples seen are pasted over U.S. Lincoln records and The Gibsona Record labels show pseudonyms for the artists (which were often pseudonyms on Lincoln anyway) and have no catalogue number. Other labels known to have been sold in this way by Gibson's include U.K. Aco and Australian Brunswick (and in these cases the original catalogue numbers and artist credits are unchanged).
