For records mentioning "Duophone Unbreakable Record" and which were released between 1926 and 1930, please use this label. Please see The Duophone and Duophone Record for related labels.
A rather eccentric record label with several different label names and a bewildering number of catalogue series produced by The Duophone Syndicate (63 Queen Victoria St, London) whose main product was a gramophone with dual soundboxes that supposedly enhanced sound quality.
The earliest record releases in October 1925 were on The Duophone label, and made of the usual shellac by Vocalion. Later (1926-1929) releases were on the Duophone Record (both shellac and "unbreakable" pressings) and on the Duophone Unbreakable Record labels.
