Rosemont Records

1960s-1990s label from New Orleans, Louisiana, owned by Al Taylor (2). Specialized in gospel, soul, and R&B. Rosemont's studios have been used to record songs for other New Orleans labels such as U-Solo Records. The Rosemont label was active from the 1960s through the 1990s. In 2011, music historian Brice White wrote a detailed article for OffBeat Magazine about Al Taylor and the history of Rosemont Records.
