Somewherecold Records

Somewherecold Records is an American independent record label that focuses on ambient, post-rock, shoegaze and dream rock/dream pop music. It was founded in late 2004 (under the name Somewhere Cold Records) by Jason T. Lamoreaux while living in Lexington, Kentucky, United States. The company's first four releases were co-released with Republic Of Texas Recordings during 2005. The record label went under hiatus in early 2006 until it was revived in September 2016 when Lamoreaux was living in Fort Worth, Texas. Somewherecold Records is currently based (since 2019) in Shelbyville, Kentucky and is distributed globally by The Business (2).
