Virgin Child

Co-owned by producer Richard Hlungwani and operating since 2000 from the town of Polokwane in the South African province of Limpopo, Virgin Child Productions (Pty) Ltd was a company which incorporated numerous related disciplines in the media and entertainment field. However, having failed to properly register with CIPRO (part of the Department of Trade and Industry), the company was simply de-registered by the much larger and more well-known Virgin UK company in 2005 following an unresolved trademark dispute.
