Disques CVD (Club Voltaïque Du Disque)

Record label from Ouagadougou, Burkina Faso; At the time of the pressing of its vinyl records, the country was called Upper Volta (thanks to use this name for the country field). Records were manufactured in Cotonou, Benin. Club Voltaïque du Disque (CVD) was founded in 1974 by Super Volta guitarist Adama Ouedraogo. Despite its humble beginnings as a record shop, CVD came to dominate the industry in the country.
