Short-lived British label which began in 1929 and ceased operations in early 1930.
These rare Worldecho pressings are not conventional shellac pressings. They are cardboard based discs (but as thick as a shellac pressing and not flexible) with a thin layer of shellac coating each side. As a result they are usually found with damaged grooves since the steel needles used at that time soon wore through the thin veneer of shellac and tore into the cardboard layer below.
