Leedon

Australian label founded in 1958 by American Lee Gordon, and co-owned by Johnny O'Keefe. Originally owned by Gordon's Lee Gordon Records Pty. Ltd., the label was sold to Festival Records Pty. Ltd. in 1960. The label was closed in 1969, having released 420 singles. See also the less commonly used Lee Gordon, also founded by Gordon around this time, which was closed in 1960, when focus turned to the Leedon label.
