Glim Records

Newly formed GLIM RECORDS - an atypical promotion machine co-created by Jeff Danos (TESTUBE) and Jonathan Chalker (LOWHERO.DLL). Established in early 2008, the label founded itself with a decidedly different goal from most of the music industry. Its two primary objectives? Make music for self satisfaction first, and then share it with whomever will listen. To hear label co-creator Jonathan Chalker talk about this seemingly-obvious yet usually-unsought goal for his fledgling venture makes one wonder why more people don't follow his words: "It would be a mistake to say our label is just a name but as you can see it would also be a mistake to think of Glim as a traditional label. Consider Glim the label for the anti-labelists."
