Eerik Inpuj Sound

Experimental music organization. Eerik Inpuj Sound is a netlabel originally formed in 1998 by K.m. Krebs (833-45) and Joseph Misra (Proswell) as a way to publish their experimental music "modules" (which are Impulse Tracker, Fast Tracker and Scream Tracker format music files). The label was gradually opened up to many friends and other like-minded musicians to encourage them to continue entertaining their musical whims. In the past the label has gone dormant for many months or years at a time, but currently (as of July 2006) it is active and new releases have been appearing on a somewhat consistent basis. The label's old "module" catalogue has been converted to MP3s which are hosted by archive.org's netlabel archive project. Many of the artists involved with Eerik Inpuj Sound have gone on to release on Merck Records.
