Ring Records label owners were 'The Circle Brothers' a.k.a. George Kooymans and Barry Hay of Dutch rock band Golden Earring. Kooymans/Hay also acted as producers for the signed artists. Ring Records active years 1985-1987. Ring Records signed a distribution deal with Ariola for the Benelux countries. With a press presentation September 5, 1985 at Club Scaramouche in Hilversum Kooymans/Hay launched their record company. The Cirlce Brothers production 'Red Skies' by Boom Boom Mancini was the first single release on Ring Records. In 1987 both Kooymans (Jojo) and Hay (Victory of Bad taste) released their second solo albums on Ring Records as part of the distribution deal with Ariola. Both albums lacked commercial succes but were highly rated by their fans.
