Bleak Netlabel

Bleak is a netlabel, based in Vienna/Austria, ran by Bernhard Hansbauer, who also co-runs the Laridae Netlabel. Releases are mostly from the Industrial, Avantgarde and Experimental genres. Most releases are licensed under Creative Commons, some are not. Besides typical netlabel artists, Bleak has been releasing live recordings from renowned artists, like Konstruktivists or Nocturnal Emissions [bleak022], [bleak024]. The label's first compilation, [bleak029] - "Why Be Blake When You Can Be Bleak - The Bleak Compilation" featured not only label artists, but also contributions from pioneers of the genres Bleak stands for - Coil, Konstruktivists, Portion Control, Sleepchamber or Pure amongst many others. 2012 saw the first physical release, the CDr version of Cultural Amnesia's "This Is Not Your Shape".
