Sundown Records

Sundown Records was an Australian record label and pressing plant established by Eleanor and John Briskey in 1981 . After purchasing the press from CM Records in Dubbo, NSW Sundown commenced pressing records in Lawnton, Queensland and was the second last pressing plant running when it closed the operation in 1993. As SUNDOWN MUSIC, the company acted as a broker for the manufacture of CDs and cassettes and as SUNDOWN MUSIC PUBLISHING continues to publish the works of artists and writers today.
