Davidsfonds

Belgian social-cultural organization founded in Leuven in 1875 and named after Jan Baptist David (1801-1866). Originally of strong catholic and flamingant leaning, the main activities of the organization are still in the field of education and the promotion of (Flemish) culture. In 1982 the organization founded Davidsfonds Uitgeverij for its publishing activities.
