Fondation Maeght

Modern art museum near Saint-Paul de Vence in the south of France (in the hills halfway between Nice and Antibes), as founded by Aimé Maeght (1906-1985), a French art dealer, collector, lithographer and publisher. Its building was designed by the Catalan architect Josep Lluís Sert and houses more than 12,000 pieces of art and attracts "on average, 200,000 visitors ... every year".
