Le laps

Founded in 2013 by Marie-Douce St-Jacques, and designed by Baptiste Alchourroun and Amandine Guillard, Le laps (“The lapse”) is an independent, Montréal-based publisher specializing in texts on the margins of literature, with a focus on singular sensibilities from artists of all backgrounds. Le laps opens up gaps and crevices to let these luminous voices escape and be heard. Le laps sometimes releases semi-digital sonorous publication, which are both a digital album and a book.
