Opened its doors on the 4th of July, 1980 with two legendary south Louisiana bands gracing the stage that night, Red Beans And Rice Revue and Clifton Chenier And His Red Hot Louisiana Band. Playing guitar with both bands that night was Sonny Landreth, who later recorded in and named his 7th album after the club.
