دار الأوبرا المصرية‎‎ / Dār al-Opera al-Maṣrīya (the Cairo Opera House) is a main performing arts venue in the Egyptian capital. The opera house was inaugurated in 1988 and is located in Zamalek. It replaced the old دار الأوبرا الخديوية / Dār al-Opera al-Khədīwīya (The Khedivial Opera House) which burned to the ground in 1971.
