Audio Fidelity
Настоящее имя: Audio Fidelity
American label started by Sidney Frey in the mid 1950's. Audio Fidelity (AF) became part of Audio Fidelity Records, Inc. in 1964 and of Audiofidelity Enterprises, Inc. in 1970. The last known releases under the original AF label were in 1984.
In 1997, Colliers Media Company purchased AF out of bankruptcy, but was acquired by Margate Entertainment LLC in 2005. The name Audio Fidelity was subsequently licensed to Morada Enterprises, which released specialty CDs under the label, Audio Fidelity (3). The historic AF catalog was last being released by Margate Entertainment's Max Cat Records reissue label.
Audio Fidelity Stereodisc is not a separate label, company or series, so do not enter it as such. It is a marketing term for AF stereo releases, which may show two catalog numbers; only the "SD" catalog number is pertinent to these releases. Audio Fidelity did this in the same way that other labels would print the Mono catalog numbers under the Stereo catalog numbers.
