Fresa

Mexican label set up in early 1969, as part of the Orbi-Vox, S.A. record company. Among the Orbi-Vox family, Fresa was used as an outlet to develop new material in LP format. Initially all releases were from overseas material, licensing, pressing and distributing artists from the Major Minor (UK) family of labels: The Raisins, July, Barry St. John, Joe E. Young & The Toniks, Steve & Stevie. By 1970 Orbi-Vox had its own recording studio, which was used for domestic productions, including those released in Fresa.
