Founded in 1924 as Tom Chokoladefabrik A/S by Copenhagen chemists Hans Trojel and Victor Hans Meyer, the company has become a world-renowned chocolate producer. Toms International produces chocolate, liquorice and sugar confectionery in Denmark, Sweden and the United Kingdom. Toms Gruppen A/S and the associated companies and brands like Anthon Berg, Galle & Jessen, Ga-Jol, and Toms are owned by Gerda & Victor B. Strand's Foundation.
