Sound of Gospel was a Detroit, Michigan gospel label, which relocated to Southfield, Michigan
The label was founded in 1969 by Armen Boladian, former president of Westbound Record. Armen was the executive producer of many of the records released by the label. One of Sound Of Gospel's most recorded and celebrated artists was the late Mattie Moss Clark, mother of the famed group The Clark Sisters , other notable and prolific artists on the label included Rev. Charles Nicks Jr. and Thomas Whitfield, while luminaries such as Harold Boggs, James Moore, Donald Vails and B L & S Gospel Singers also recorded for the label.
They also run Sound Of Gospel Secret Records. The label also distributed music from King James Records.
