EMI Services Benelux B.V.
Настоящее имя: EMI Services Benelux B.V.
EMI's manufacturing and distribution company in Uden, The Netherlands. Operating between 1982 and 1990.
The facilities included vinyl pressing, cassette duplication, cover and label printing, as well as storage and distribution.
Vinyl manufacturing was discontinued by mid 1987, and cassette duplication ended in 1990, making way for CD manufacturing, which commenced in 1990 as EMI Uden.
Note: when a record mentions "Printed in Holland by EMI Services Benelux, Uden", it does not mean the record was also pressed there.
The Uden plant also undertook contract vinyl pressings for EMI Germany.
When the vinyl production ended in 1987, the 7" single manufacturing was transferred to the EMI Electrola GmbH plant in Germany (ca. 2.8 million units), and the LP and 12" output (ca. 4.8 million LPs and 1.2 million 12"s) was split 50-50 between the German and the French Pathé Marconi EMI, Chatou plants.
