Dansk Skærestudie
Настоящее имя: Dansk Skærestudie
Danish vinyl cutting/mastering studio operating from 1981 to 1995. When Electric & Musical Industries (Dansk-Engelsk) A/S, the Danish branch of EMI, in 1981 decided to centralize all vinyl production at their Dutch plant, their cutting engineer Hugo Von Qualen bought the production equipment in the basement of the EMI building in the Copenhagen suburb of Valby and created Dansk Skærestudie there. At that point in time, Von Qualen was the only person in Denmark who could operate the lacquer cutting machine. The studio folded in 1995 due to financial struggles and Von Qualen's declining health.
