Goodson Record
Настоящее имя: Goodson Record
Short-lived UK label established in May, 1928 by brothers Joe & Jack Goodson.
The first releases had no catalogue numbers (only the matrix numbers are shown on each side) and were made from a celluloid material. Production of these records was halted in June 1929 as a result of a government order restricting their sale due to the danger caused by the flammable nature of the celluloid content and the company was reported as being "in suspension" while these issues were resolved. The new releases were pressed on a white, non-flammable material called "Rhodoid" began got appear in December 1929 and were numbered in a catalogue series starting at 101. This series had reached 339 by early 1931, and the company went into liquidation soon after.
