1960s-1970s soul label from Chicago, Illinois. Also appears as "Dakar" only. See also Bashie Records. Initially manufactured and distributed by Cotillion, a division of Atlantic Recording Corp. between 1967 and late 1971. Subsequently distributed by parent New York label Brunswick Records between 1972 and 1982. Willie Henderson worked as a producer for the label.
